ASHRAE Ottawa Valley Chapter

Event Description:

The Ottawa Valley Chapter’s Young Engineers in ASHRAE and Membership Promotion Committees are pleased to invite all ASHRAE OVC Members and their non-member guests to LumberJaxe Axe Throwing sponsored generously by Victaulic! We will receive a quick lesson on the proper techniques to throw one- and two-handed axes, followed by a tournament to crown OVC’s ultimate axe throwing champion, for a total of 90 minutes of axe throwing! Pizza will be provided, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. The event will be hosted on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, beginning at 7:00pm. Axe thorwing itself will begin in earnest at 7:30pm and run until 9pm. Registration is $20 CAD for Members and non-members, with a discounted $15 CAD entry for Student Members (normally $40+, thank you Victaulic!). 

Please note that close-toed shoes are required. Participants will be required to sign a waiver which will be provided to them at the time of registration.
